Description:	Software Engineer - Operations Development Exciting financial-technology firm is looking for a software engineer. The person will be an important contributor in creation, management and development of operational automation. First, some necessary qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CompSci, Mathematics or other science (Masters preferred), advanced experience developing in C++ or .NET/C# development (5 years plus), experience developing system monitoring and task automation and tools, ability to think and work fast in a team environment, excellent documentation and communication skills, experience with source control environments, unit testing and other process oriented tools. To really match this job, it would be advantageous to also know trading or other real-time systems, FIX protocol or streaming financial market data systems, statistical or numerical analysis, test driven experience in languages like C#, Python, C++ or Java. Maybe you want to know what you'll be doing? You'll be engineering custom apps to support a high-frequency, real-time operation. There will be some rotating engineering support. Interfacing with different kinds of technical people in a highly collaborative environment.
