Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established and growing financial services company is currently seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join our dynamic team in West Houston. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our .NET-based applications while leveraging a range of technologies including C#, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.


Position Overview:
As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance web applications using the .NET framework and associated technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing clean, maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our business requirements. Experience with Xamarin for mobile application development is considered a plus.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the .NET framework, specifically with C#, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Collaborate with the business to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern web development techniques and libraries.

• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Perform unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of existing applications.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in web development, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven work experience as a .NET Developer, with expertise in C#, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Solid understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.

• Experience with Xamarin for mobile application development is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
