SCADA Engineer (onsite)

Walker Elliott is working with an upstream oil and gas company in Houston, TX and they are looking to hire SCADA Engineer. This company operates in the exploration and production sector, focusing on maximizing efficiency and safety of their operations. As a SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems within our upstream oil and gas operations. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop SCADA system tailored to specific requirements of upstream oil and gas operations.

• Implement SCADA system using industry standard hardware and software solutions.

• System integration and configure SCADA system to monitor critical parameters.

• Troubleshooting and maintenance

Requirements:

• Degreed

• 3+ yrs. of exp. with focus in upstream oil and gas industry

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in SCADA development (Python, Java, C#)

• Experience in Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC products, Automation Direct
