Job Detail: Senior Upstream Business Analyst

Description:

Walker Elliott is working with an upstream oil and gas client who is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong business acumen to support their users. The right person for this role has functional upstream business knowledge, revenue accounting and JIB, and SQL knowledge and experience. Role is hybrid 3/2.

Responsibilities:

• Work with users to identify problems.

• Gather business requirements.

• Document process and requirements and translate them to business solutions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience. 2+ years of oil and gas upstream.

• Revenue accounting, JIB.

• Must have good SQL skills including querying the database, joins, tables, stored procedures.

• Strong analytical thinker with ability to grasp complex data.

• Be a great team player. Work well independently.

• Manage projects, leading when necessary.

• This role is hybrid.
