Job Detail: DevOps Engineer

Walker Elliott has partnered with a global technology company that is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a talented team working for a leader in their industry.  This is a direct-hire career opportunity with excellent compensation, bonuses, benefits and many perks.  You will be working in a cutting edge HPC technical environment, constantly trying to implement new techniques to improve solutions for the business community.  This will involve configuration, installation, development as well as  support and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure

Qualifications

Required experience:

• BS, MS or PhD in Math, Physics, Engineering or CS strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of Linux administration (RedHat, Suse, Debian or Ubentu)
• Experience in DevOps practices
• Proven ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
• Ability to learn new technical skills quickly

Preferred experience:

• Knowledge of networking and SD-WAN experieunce
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowperShell, shell, Python, bash, etc.)
• Experience designing, building and testing systems
• Ability to prioritize and find technical solutions to improve system stability
